Google, known for its models that have made a place in the world of smartphones with the Pixel brand, is preparing to introduce the Pixel 8 series towards the end of this year. The company uses its own processors in its devices. Leaked information about the expected series has started to emerge.

The Google Pixel 8 will feature a panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate

Google, following a policy also pursued by many technology companies, distinguishes between standard models and Pro models in terms of hardware. The screen of the standard model in the Pixel 7 series had a 6.3-inch 90Hz panel. While Google is shrinking in terms of the screen, it will now increase the refresh rate. According to the news on Android Authority, the standard model, the Google Pixel 8, will have a panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the other hand, the screen of the Pixel 8 is getting smaller. The screen size of the standard model will be 6.17 inches. The source states that the maximum brightness of the screen in the standard model will increase to 1,400 nits. This was limited to 1,000 nits in the Pixel 7. Based on the shared image, it seems that Google will make the edges of the series slightly more rounded.
